Yes! Every piece is fully adjustable, with buckles on the chest strap and hook-and-loop closures on the leg bands, so it fits any horse, from ponies and Icelandics to full-size horses.

It's very safe. The lights are low-power LEDs running on small button batteries, so they stay cool to the touch, even after hours of use. There are no hot bulbs and no high-voltage parts.

Yes. The straps are made of soft, lightweight nylon, and the full set weighs only about 670 g, so most horses barely notice it. Adjust it snug but not tight: you should be able to slide two fingers under every strap.

Most horses don't mind them at all. For a calm first time, let your horse sniff the pieces, switch them on in the stable or arena, and start with the steady mode before trying the flashing modes.

About 70 hours per battery. Each piece runs on a standard CR2032 button battery that you can swap in seconds. CR2032 batteries are sold in most supermarkets and electronics shops.

Three modes: steady, slow flash and fast flash. Switch between them, or turn the light off, with one press of the button.

The light strands are 100 cm long. They hang naturally inside your horse's tail and move with it as you ride.

It handles normal riding conditions, but it isn't waterproof. Avoid heavy rain, don't submerge it or hose it down, and let it dry fully before storing.

About two minutes. Buckle the chest strap, wrap the four leg bands just above the fetlocks, fasten the tail light at the base of the tail, and you're ready to glow.

Steedlume lights help you and your horse be seen in low light. They're a visibility aid, not a replacement for safe riding. Always follow your local road and riding safety rules, wear a riding helmet, ride with care at night, and never leave the lights on an unattended horse in the stall or field. Check the fit before each ride and remove any piece that rubs or slips. Our rider vest is for visibility only and is not protective gear.

Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap, keeping water away from the light modules and battery compartment. Let it dry fully before storing.

Horse pieces come in blue, green and red, with pink coming back soon. Rider LED hats come in 8 colours and vests in 4, so you and your horse can match.
